I am Michael, and this is my math blog. On all of the other pages on this site, I am going to provide all sorts of useful explanation and pointers about as many math concepts as I can, but on this page, I want to tell you a bit about me instead. If nothing else, this should hopefully give you some confidence that I know what I’m talking about on my site!
I have studied math and science, in one form or another, for many years now. I have a Master of Science degree specializing in Medicine, on top of my Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. As I probably don’t need to explain, these fields of study are very intense with numbers and calculations, and having a strong grasp of basic and advanced mathematical concepts is absolutely critical to success. Having accomplished this success in my schooling (years ago now!), I am now putting this blog together so that I can share some of what I learned with anyone who is seeking help with math. Through my studies, I came to understand how incredibly valuable it is to have a reliable resource to who you can turn for assistance and guidance, and that is the essence of what I aim to recreate on this site.
On these pages, you will find explanations of as many math concepts that I can think of and publish that will benefit you in your studies. I aim to post a wide variety of concepts, so hopefully I will touch on something that is useful for everyone. In addition, I absolutely welcome feedback – suggestions for new posts, questions about my writings, requests for more examples. I will do the best I can to reply to everyone and provide the necessary help wherever possible. I always try to explain these lessons in as simple terms as possible with as little confusion as possible, but I can understand if sometimes I may get carried away and need to tone it down a bit or clarify things. My tutoring and lessons have always been incredibly helpful to students, so you have come to the right place for easy-to-understand math explanations!
